Moreover, it helps to display the user every hidden item’s location.

What are Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

These are role-playing video games. Game Freak has developed, and Nintendo has published these games, which are considered as the 1st installments of the Pokémon video game series 9th generation. Just like Pokémon legends: Arceus, these ones have taken place in an open world. It was Paldea Region where the games took place.

As a user, you will get to see three different stories. These games have included four new regional forms, and you will also get to see 103 new Pokémon here. Moreover, these games have introduced the Terastal Phenomenon that permits the Pokémon to transform into the Tera Type. However, a lot of specifications of the earlier modern Pokémon games, such as huge open areas and so on, are maintained in these games.

The games have received a lot of reviews. Due to the open-world story and formula, the games have been greatly appreciated. Whereas the technical and graphical issues are the reasons behind the criticism.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Gameplay:

The gameplay structure of the earlier Pokémon games and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the same, where there are chances for the players to get creatures called Pokémon. You may use these to explore the world and battle other Pokémon trainers.

Players will get to see the open world while playing these games. Unlike the earlier installments in the Pokémon series, urban areas and open wilderness without Borders can be seen here.

These games have included three new starter Pokémon – Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, along with two new legendary Pokémon named Koraidon and Miraidon. You can use Koraidon or Miraidon to traverse the environment and get travel assistance. A player can send a Pokemon to roam around the world using the mechanic known as “Let’s Go.”

Moreover, users will get chances for cooperative playing with up to 3 other players. The Terastal phenomenon is included in the game that gives Pokémon a crystalline look. Besides, these can change a Pokémon’s type so that it can match the “Tera Type. ” These also help to unlock unique moves like Tera Blast. Terastallized Pokémon use Tera blast to become the same type’s move as the Tera Type.

Plot:

You should know that the player character and their mother have moved to the Paldea Region. Now they live in the small settlement of Cabo Poco. He is preparing to start his studies at Naranja AcademyS/Uva AcademyV in Mesagoza, the largest town in the region. Clavell, the academy director, gives the players a choice of the three starter Pokémon.

In addition, he introduces them to Nemona, who is the head of the academy’s student council and their next-door neighbor. She takes one starter Pokémon to train a new team with the player. When the player explores Poco Path, they will encounter KoraidonS/MiraidonV saving them from the angry Houndour. Later, Arven, one of the academy students, identifies the Pokémon. Then, he gives a Poké Ball to the player.

As soon as the players and Nemona plan their way to Mesagoza, the players get introduced to the Terastal Phenomenon. After that, proper arrangements are made. As a result, the players receive a Tera Orb that can utilize the phenomenon. In this journey in Mesagoza, the players saved a girl named Penny from getting harassed by the Team Star members.

In this case, you should know that Team star is a group of a few malefactor academy students who were accused of bullying. But professor SadaS/ Professor TuroV, fatherV / motherS of Arven, contacted these students. They declared the fact that with the dragon, the players traveled is basically under the profession. So, they ask the players to take care of it.

After a few days, a school project named Treasure Hunt was initiated. During this project, the academy’s students need to travel to Paldea to find their personal treasures. As a result, the players need to go through three different storylines at a time or one by one.

Victory Road:

When Nemona urges, the player starts their journey to challenge the eight Pokémon Gyms around Paldea. There are a few who have collected the eight necessary Gym Badges. They can be taken on the Champion Assessment test at the headquarters of the Pokémon League, and they are the only ones who can get the Champion Rank. Nemona supports the player in several ways by battling when the players are traveling around the region for challenging Gyms.

The player has been introduced to Geeta also. She is the chairwoman of the Paldea Pokémon League. Moreover, she is the strongest and Champion-ranked Trainer in the region.

After having the eight Gym Badges, the players can start their journey to Pokémon League headquarters. Once a player passes an interview test, the player goes for battling and finally defeats the Elite Four and Geeta. Then, Nemona challenges one more battle. The storyline of Victory Road ends with her defeat in the battle.

Path of Legends:

From Arven, the players get to know about the five giant Pokémon called Titan Pokémon, who live in several places over Paldea. He seeks the player’s assistance to defeat them and collect Herba Mysticas, which offers excellent health benefits. During this quest, the dragon of the players gets all its power back by eating sandwiches of Herba Mystica. Arven declared that he wanted to use Herba Mysticas to heal Mabosstiff, his partner who got injured earlier.

When all the herba Mysticas get collected, the player’s dragon regains all his previous powers except the battling capability. On the other hand, Arven’s Mabosstiff made a full recovery. As a result, Arven got immense relief. After that, the Professor requests the player to come to a laboratory at The Great Crater of Paldea. During this time, Arven was fighting against the player, using his full strength to check if they both were ready for one of the dangerous areas in the region. The Path of Legends ends with his defeat.

Starfall Street:

A person named Cassiopeia hacks into the player’s Rotom Phone. Then, the person wants to take the player’s help to take down Team Star in “Operation Starfall .” Clavell uses the pseudonym “Clive” to disguise as an academy student. Later, Director Clavell teams up with the player when they have their journey to Paldea to take down Team Star’s five Squads and for defeating the Boss of every Squad. When the one-person war of the players against the team is running, they learn more about the team’s history.

The victims of bullying formed the team. The mysterious “big boss” played a vital role in congregating them. It was determined that the bullies would finally be confronted. But before the game’s events, without fighting back, the bullies fled. The academy’s then-deputy director removed all bullying records from the school’s records to make Team Star bullies. But the academy’s all staff resigned later as they failed to prevent it from happening.

Once they take down all five of Team Star’s Squads, Cassiopeia reveals themselves as the “big boss” of Team Star, who began Operation Starfall as the team could not continue operating in its current way. Then the players were told to come to the schoolyard. Then, Clavell claims himself as Cassiopeia at the academy. But when he gets defeated, he says he was testing the player’s power to see if they could face the real Cassiopeia, revealed to be Penny. When Penny loses, Clavell says that the Team Star Bosses watched the war. They permit the team to carry on the operating procedure until they successfully turn the bases into training benefits for trainers. In this way, Starfall Street’s story ends.

The Way Home:

Now Arven, Nemona, and Penny planned their destination to Area Zero at The Great Crater of Paldea as per the Professor’s request. However, when the group started traveling to the four old research stations to unlock the door to the laboratory of the Professor, they met primevalS/ mechanicalV Pokémon, who looked peculiar. Later it was revealed that they would be brought to the current days from an era with the help of a time machine which was manufactured by the Professor where KoradidonS/MiraidonV’s specimens were included.

A few of the Paradox Pokémon confront the player with their friends at the laboratory entrance. They insist the player enter the Zero Lab alone when their friends are battling against the Pokémon outside.

When the player enters the laboratory, he finds that the Professor is a robot. The actual Professor made it before being killed by any Paradox Pokémon. The AI of the robot was the exact copy of the Professor’s emotions and memories. But still, it was against the plan of the original Professor to keep the time machine automatically to bring Pokémon to the present from another era.

Threat:

Because it can be a threat for destroying Paldea’s ecosystem, you should know that the AI keeps the time machine protected, due to which the player needs to fight against the will. After defeating artificial intelligence, friends of the player joined him. In the meantime, the robot professor was embezzled by the Protocol. The player’s dragon regained the battle ability and confronted and defeated other members of its type. Then, it ends the control of the Paradise Protection Protocol over Artificial intelligence.

However, artificial intelligence detects that the systems have connections with the time machine, and it is impossible to close the machine till it remains present. Then, AI decides to go to another era with a time machine by bidding on the player and the friends. Then, the machine gets shut down permanently. Afterward, the group chooses a slow way back to Mesagoza to finish the main game.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Post-game:

Nemona suggests a battle tournament at the school when the players, along with their friends, return to regular school life.

Nemona requests Geeta to participate because Geeta is the academy’s school board chairwoman.

But Geeta said that she’s busy with her duties as the Pokémon League chairwoman. However, she added that she could join if the players inspect the Gym Leaders by taking her place to check if they’re still eligible to keep their positions. Then, the player returns to every gym to take on the eight Gym Leaders again in the series of rematches.

As soon as the players completed the rematches, they reported the inspection results to Geeta. As a result, the tournament is conducted. In the first round, Arven is defeated by the player. Then, in the second round, the player defeated Biology teacher Jacq, who is the Battle Studies teacher. After that, Dendra was defeated in the third round, and Geeta was defeated in the finals. Thus, they officially became the most powerful Trainer at the academy. After that, Clavell says that the tournament will be held daily. In this way, the post-game story concluded.
